It's spooky season. Guess who has two thumbs and writes spooky books? ME!

So I've compiled a list of over 30 Easter Eggs and behind the scenes tidbits for my books that I'll be doling out between now and Halloween.

I caved and started taking liquid cough medicine for this lingering cough. Still hoping I can prevent full blown bronchitis.

Save me.

I forgot about Bluesky again. Partially because I'm back in the office full time for the first time since mid-June.

Everything is upside down, so have a cat.

As of today I am back to my regular in-office work schedule, which means any hope I had of filming more has gone out the window.

Trying to pivot to short form serials but...not my favorite.

Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol makes 1,700x more than the average barista.

That same CEO claims a $9 coffee is affordable and commutes to work in a private jet. Meanwhile, many baristas struggle to afford getting to work.

We're joining sbworkersunited.org in a Starbucks boycott.

This is the respiratory infection that won't go away. I think I overdid it the past couple of days and now I'm back in bed.

Bast is making sure I don't make that mistake again.

BY THE GRACE

Autistic before it was even a word, Julia Grace only knows she's different, and that it's up to her to solve her best friend's murder, since no one else will do it.

But only if the Spanish Flu doesn't get to her first.

My verbal typo of the day:

Me, pitching my work to a local bookstore hoping they'll carry it: "I write pornanormal mysteries.

*mental record scratch*

*points to asexual pride teeshirt*

"Sorry, not my genre. PARANORMAL mysteries. That's the one."

Discovered a 2nd hand cycling shop near me, so off to investigate this afternoon. Seems a bit more friendly to people who don't wear spandex or ride $3,000 racing bikes than the last place I went.

Cross your fingers that they have my weird vintage UK tire size.

You're looking for a Gothic mystery, with haunted houses and a slow-burn light romance. Should it be:

I know it's only been three days, but I feel like I've been sick for at least a week. I am doing a lot better, but it's going to be at least 3 more days before I reach "normal" again.
