Put together a new PC build the other day. Been 6 years since I cobbled together the already slightly out of date build that used to be there. I finally have the financial security to be very up-to-date.

Sort of little black and white study with a slight focus on minor fundamentals.

Kind of funny to see the spectrum of hue that comes from tints, tones, and shades. The gauntlet and the gun are painted with the exact same three paints.

Having the rest of the colours blocked in really helps focus the model. Just about done. I think I'll be pleased to give him as a gift, even if it's not my absolute best work.

He's coming along now. Not sure about the cape. I think cloth with vertical ridges doesn't click well in my mind on how to shade and highlight. I should spend some time doing capes and cloaks to practice.

Mucking about with plasticard to make some tiled bases. Zeroed in on the large shards at the end, but I don't mind the small sharded ones. Probably going to add PVA and sand to grout the spaces between anyways.

Put on some golden highlights to the armour panels on the Deathmarks. Cleaned up all my Immortals as well. I think all 4 squads are done! I'll start to test out my basing with the 20 Warriors.
Also very funny the video ends perfectly before the song's drop.
