Today is Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada. The part of the TRC report that possibly angers me the most is how, ever since they were first built in the 1800s, inspectors regularly wrote reports detailing how completely unfit the schools were and how bad the system was but no one did a thing.

Fall has officially fallen. Normally I am excited and reinvigorated by this change of the seasons, but we didn't get summer this year, so I'm not at all happy that it's fall now.

I'm still taking things kind of easy, but I just played 3 hours of mostly my very guitar-y originals on the sing song and my hands feel fine. This is a good sign for my recovery.
