I heal out loud
because I suffered
so long in silence

I didn’t plan to write this book.

Over the last couple of months, the poems that became Fragile But Fierce: arrived quietly at first, then all at once. They came from lived experience, from pain and love, and from the long practice of staying human when it would be easier to harden.
how do you glow
when everything
is trying to take you down?

Some women don’t come from softness—
they come from survival,
and still find a way to bloom.

Eight Years ago today
1 year post divorce

My abusive ex husband was still stalking me after leaving him.. he filled my gas tank with FOUR POUNDS of sugar and then slashed all of my tires. Two one day then after I fixed those he came back a few nights later slashed another two.

When the world blurs
right and wrong
until nothing means anything,
choosing softness
becomes an act of resistance.

Some wounds don’t live on the skin.
They live underneath it—quiet, invisible, still aching in places no one thinks to look.

Just because you can’t see the scars doesn’t mean they aren’t still healing.

I was lost in darkness,
but the dark never learned how to keep me.

Some nights try to convince you the story is over.
But survival has a way of whispering back

It’s for anyone who feels deeply in a world that rewards numbness. For those learning how to survive without closing their heart. For readers who want language that doesn’t rush healing, doesn’t polish pain, and doesn’t confuse hardness with strength.

Chronic illness.
Disability.

Not a different kind of person.
Not a distant group.

Just ordinary lives
in bodies
that changed.

Because the truth most people forget is—

the line between them and us
is thinner
than anyone wants to believe.

It could be anyone.

Hello Loves,

I just went through again & lowered my prices of every book to the limit allowed on Amazon. I receive no royalty for any of the them- but the books are so much more accessible for those who need them & that’s all I want.💜

This shouldn’t need saying in 2026, but here we are.

Nazis don’t become harmless because time passed.
Hate doesn’t become “free speech” because it’s louder.
And no one is protected by staying quiet.

History already told us how this ends.
Believing “it won’t reach me” has never been a shield.

Say their names.
Not as cases.
As people.

Again, this piece is not an argument.

It’s a remembering.

A refusal to let loss be reduced to paperwork, headlines, or silence.

Read slowly.💜
