Double mastectomy took a toll on me but this too shall pass. I feel like a cyborg dealing with the drains. I’m excited to see the flat styles I’ll wear & tats I’ll get. I am so incredibly thankful for my husband, as my partner & man who loves me unconditionally. I am blessed to have him in my life.
It was a pure joy and honor to sit down with the Douglas County News-Press. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my Ma’s story and her special recipes. Keeping her memory alive through the food she loved means everything to me. 🩷🫶🩷🫶

The universe is always listening. I was just talking about paying it forward during Covid, and just now a girl snuck up to our front door and left this traveling book bag. This is so incredibly kind and I will add some books to it before it travels to the next house tomorrow. ❤️

This absolutely is a horrible week. Yesterday Dolly Parton, and today Tim Curry. 💔
This man was my everything. I know that might sound strange, but he played Pennywise in IT, my all time favorite book.

Today, the world plays a softer melody. Dolly Parton was more than an icon. She was a masterclass in humanity, kindness, and grace. Her voice, rich with sincerity, brought comfort to millions, and her immense heart had room for everyone without exception.
