10 of the 12 F-35As that arrived at Mildenhall on Monday have now departed for the Middle East. They were escorted by a couple of KC-135 refuelling planes (59-1516, 57-2605) - flight shown below.

Lakenheath has been quite in terms of departures of C-17 transport planes, but there has been a lot of activity the last couple of days - 5 arriving on Monday (4 departing the same day) and today another two arrived. They were destined for the Middle East or other bases in Europe
