The climate crisis is here.

New fossil fuel drilling won't cut household bills, it won't make our country more energy secure, and it will only worsen the climate emergency.

Scotland needs to invest in clean, green renewables to secure our future.

Decisions about Scotland should be made by the people who live here.

Scotland can build a fairer, greener future as a normal independent country.

It's an anti-democratic outrage that the Tories and Labour have joined forces to cast a veto against our parliament.
FM calls for referendum powers as draft independence bill published
The draft bill would be introduced into Parliament if the Scottish government secured the necessary powers from the UK government.

I am proud that in Scotland, people with disabilities already benefit from free bus travel at all times.

We also made bus travel free for under-22s, and we are rolling out the £2 bus fare cap for everyone across the country. That’s the SNP delivering for Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

While Burnham's announcement that disabled people's bus passes in England will be valid 24 hours a day from April next year is to be welcomed, it would have been nice for the UK media to acknowledge that 60+ and disabled bus passes in Scotland have been valid 24 hours a day for years now.

Come on SNP and Scottish Greens. You both asked for our votes on manifestos that promised a second independence referendum.

Together, you hold the biggest pro-independence majority in Holyrood's history.

It's time to turn that mandate into action.

It's time to deliver.
