I don’t just want Seth Moulton to lose. I want him to be embarrassed by how badly he loses. He has done nothing but waste the people of Massachusetts’ time, money, and attention by running a slimy campaign. This kind of behavior should result in embarrassment.

A family at the Dilley Detention facility —father, a pregnant mother, and their seven-year-old daughter, Fredimar—has pleaded for permission to return home to Venezuela. Their family should never have been put in this position in the first place. End family detention now.

Sounds to me more like “squeaked by”

A tragic night for progressives and leftists in Wisconsin. But not as sad or as jarring as when Russ Feingold lost in 2016.

We couldn't protect him, the sole voter against the Patriot Act. Which arguably created the world we live in now, full of surveillance centers.

Opposition to AI data centers is uniting Wisconsinites across the political spectrum. I’ve been on the side of the people since day one. As governor, I’ll call a special session of the Legislature for a moratorium on new construction. We won’t get Foxconned again.

If you’re in Wisconsin, stop by the Madison office, bring a donation for the mutual aid hub, or sign up to volunteer before the August 11 election!

Stop killing us.

In LA, street light repair involves asking property owners if they would like to pay more taxes and then giving rich people who own more expensive property a vote that counts for more because of a 1996 CA initiative that mandates that horrendously dumb process.

We don't have to live like this!
"According to results released Thursday, nearly 80% of the weighted vote went against raising the assessment, which currently generates about $45 million a year."

Truly an astonishing failure of city leadership here. So now what?
$80 million streetlight funding increase rejected by L.A. property owners
The assessment has not changed since 1996, and the funds are used to operate and repair the city's streetlight system.
