Every time I think I've worked out what I want to say about the latest Level 5 AI news story, there's another big development. Today they say no AI was used in NWOS, who knows what the headline will be tomorrow. At the very least, I'm proud of the community for being so vocal that Level 5 responded

I love the Layton series so much that I bought LMJ 3 times (on 3 different platforms)- and I don't even like that game! These are the first Layton releases I probably won't get at all. Maybe it's hyperbolic to say, but it just doesn't feel like the same series anymore

"Go to hell" is basic. "I hope your favourite series gets infested with AI" is scary. It's possible. It happened to me.

So, if New World of Steam is releasing on Steam (as it seems), then they'll be required to disclose to what extent they used AI, right?
