Atlanta United 2 announced today that it has loaned forward Liam Butts to USL Championship side Loudoun United FC. The loan will be valid through the remainder of the 2026 USL Championship season. Butts joined Atlanta on Dec. 17, 2025, and has since tallied four goals and an assist in 17 appearances for the club. The 25-year-old forward was previously part of the Atlanta United Academy from 2016-19 before playing collegiate soccer at Penn State University, where he scored 25 goals and provided eight assists in 72 appearances across five seasons.
