I'm out travelling for a couple of days. Left the house quick, and I didn't get the GP2x handheld ready to take with me. 😐 Last time I decided to focus on the Amstrad emulator, which I'd hardly touched before. Y'know, it was really fun to try new versions of old games I knew. 😎

Pooyan was quite a cool C64 conversion.
Could certainly look better. But they did a darned good job of taking a tall-screen arcade game and translating it to the 4:3 screen of the C64. And those falling wolves, and the sounds of biting wolves were just adorable. 😋

I question the career path of Princess Mariana, who the barbarian rescues in Barbarian 1 and is now a Warrior Princess? I mean, girl power and all that. But if I were a princess, I'd happily assign any muscular well-armed subject of my kingdom to this rather than do it myself. 😋
