Back in the early days of the 'Ear, it was welcomed with suspicion by #LOFC. It couldn't be sold in the ground. When Barry Hearn arrived, he knew that all publicity was good publicity and that it promoted discussion of and interest in the club. I doubt he actually liked it, but he tolerated it.

Wouldn’t expect this to progress quickly, but the very idea seems another blow to the Gandlerplan: anyone buying this stadium would almost certainly want to do a lot of the things that DG has in mind.

Wouldn’t expect this to progress quickly, but the very idea seems another blow to the Gandlerplan: anyone buying this stadium would almost certainly want to do a lot of the things that DG has in mind.
Not sure if this made it over here yet, but well worth a read - there are implications for the EFL, and one does have to wonder how Orient’s jobless owner intends to fund his plans…

Since David Gandler took control of #LOFC there have been three transfer windows, and in that time the Os have signed 38 players - significantly more than any other Club that has been in League One over the same period.
