Started the TTRPG GPS my DH Center Co-Directors and I are running yesterday, but the game play begins today and.... maybe I'm gonna start a thread about what we're playing and why?
Telling your co-Directors/Co-instructors you had an idea? Mundane, could have come from nothing.
Telling them you received a vision? Mysterious, implies higher knowledge.

So rather than increase faculty payroll and lower student:teacher ratios, UMass would rather spend it on Claude. I would argue that a better investment would be hiring 100-200 tenure-line faculty.
According to a meeting I was in, UMass estimates that if the capacity of these tools were maxed out by student, faculty, staff users, the total cost to the university would be $130,000/day, or about $47 million / year.

we have a field in our refstats for referral, and for the student who just came up to the desk and needed directions to a building that's clear on the other side of campus (25ish minute walk) for a class that got moved minutes before it started I would love to be able to select "loving god" 📚

So like yes: the telehealth therapy/doctor-finder apps are a nightmare. But I also find it massively strange the way they tout searching by availability? Who's using these apps to only find UNavailable providers?

I am nearly always a “it’s important to get things right and understand the facts and how things work” but sometimes it’s just “fuck these guys”. Shouldn’t have crammed this shit down our throats and broke the law trying to power them, while all of your execs are the antichrist
