It's #intuitober Day 7 and #wordlesswednesday. I thought I'd show you the scribbles I've gotten so far as well as the scribble for today's prompt: Eyes. I try not to take the prompt so literally, but it's hard not to with a prompt like this one 😅

A migraine on Friday and spending most of yesterday in the hospital (I'm okay!) means all of the things I needed to get done before today are being hurried through this morning 😅 If you are in the JCMO area I hope you'll come to Porchfest to see all the amazing artists, entertainers, and musicians.

🕯️Gouache ghosts have begun to haunt my Etsy shop. If you'd like to nab one up before it's sold at the upcoming event, they're ready and waiting to haunt their forever home.

Can intuitive art be representational? I personally think that, yes, it can be representational. Sometimes it was always meant to be that way, and sometimes we can't force our scribbles to look like anything at all 🤷♀️

Can intuitive art be representational? I personally think that, yes, it can be representational. Sometimes it was always meant to be that way, and sometimes we can't force our scribbles to look like anything at all 🤷♀️

My favorite medium to experiment with has always been watercolor. You can do so many amazing things with it, and even then it still surprises you every time. I love the delicious way colors bleed together, granulate, bloom...I could go on and on...

Cyanotype-Printing friends: what have you found is the best chemistry to get black and white and not sepia? Research has been fruitless.
I do use white vinegar and washing soda but the tannins usually turn it brown. I've used black, green, and herbal teas.
