Remembering Speaker Emeriti Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark today. I still can't fathom the unbelievable loss to Minnesota and how we will ever recover. But we will do everything we can to honor her legacy by continuing to fight for legislation that improves the lives of Minnesotans.
This bites! Representative Michael Nelson was one of the sweetest, most gentle people I have ever known. He was so beloved in his district that doorknocking for him was the easiest political volunteer gig ever. He will be forever missed. 💔

Help! Is anyone else finding it impossible to cancel their paramount + subscription? I'm following the directions but when I get to the screen where the cancel option is supposed to be, it doesn't exist. I'm going to assume it's me unless I learn others are having the same problem.

Could we have seen this coming? Yes. The #Democratic party leadership, the #DNC and all of the members of Congress who have been there too long dragged their feet, didn't speak up, didn't get forceful enough & now we're playing catch up.

SCOTUS, which ordered Alabama to create a second Black opportunity district just 3 years ago, has lifted that order a week before the primary. The Purcell principle says courts shouldn't permit chaos too close to an election—it's now an open question whether there will even be a primary on schedule.

Dems running for Congress and POTUS must run on Supreme Court reform. A law forcing justices into senior status after 18 years, applicable to the current bench would do the trick. That would force Roberts, Alito, and Thomas into senior status, opening three seats to be filled immediately. 1/
