We were!! And out reaction was so significant there is now a moratorium on data centers in Salem. Its a start but People wont stop till they are banned here. It also taught me that when ai companies do sneaky shit you need to tell everyone you can. Exposure kills these already shaky deals

In salem oregon where I am they were all set to demolish a bunch of public forest land and the city council didnt tell anyone until two weeks before groundbreaking because they said they had signed NDA'S the backlash was huge. Everyone was beyond pissed
