Beyond the noise, pollution, congestion, carbrain, and car dependency, here's driver entitlement and arrogance encroaching on what little space left for footpaths and bike lanes. Cars ruin cities.
In the span of one bike ride, every intersection, every driver intentionally drivers over the stop line. It's just car brained arrogance and madness.

This framing is breathtakingly stupid.

Oh Wellington Street, what you could have been instead of this car sewer mess.

ONE MORE LANE WILL FIX IT, TRUST ME BRO!
September 6, 2026 at 8:20 AM
Like a scene straight out of Utopia, adding more lanes to an already wide highway is marketed as game changer! 🙄

The number of people who don't stop at the line is increasing and intentional, some squarely stopping over pedestrian crossing on purpose.

There's something about driving that makes people entitled to park over footpaths, block pedestrian crossings, and stop over bike boxes.

There is no place in Australia for these disgusting "vehicles".

The entire state budget allocate just $7.1 million for "connections and safety in public and active transport network", less than 1% of the amount we are allocating for the rego discount alone.

!@#$ these American shitcans on our roads. Ban them outright and tax the existing ones out of existence.

Oversized emotional support vehicle? ✅
Being a complete asshat parking over the entire footpath? ✅

There is truly an epidemic of the most arrogant and entitled people.

Here's where we are as a society. Arrogant, Entitled, and Inconsiderate.

This is terrible. It should be full of parked cars and congested roads! #GlenferrieFestival #Glenferrie

Wellington St, Collingwood. One person per car, zero metres per second. Bikes: keep the streets moving.

A glimpse of what could be, before going back and making excuses for the rest of a year.

A pedestrianised Lonsdale Street has the potential to rival the world’s great promenades — strolling beneath a canopy of green, vibrant and alive.
Think La Rambla in Barcelona.
Think Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris.
Why not Lonsdale Street?

Once a year, we're treated to what a pedestrianised Lonsdale Street could look like.

Nimbyism at its finest. *Chef's kiss, well deserved.

Remember this as another wave of fear mongering nimbyism is starting up about increasing density around train stations.
How an ugly debate about level crossing blights Cheltenham’s landscape 10 years on
The legacy of a fierce and organised community campaign against building a “skyrail” continues to frustrate locals, who say requests to add greenery to the space have been denied.

I wanna see an ebike cause this kind of damage and mayhem, given their non-stop media coverage on how dangerous they are.

Tell me how car brained you are without telling me.

Thank goodness number plates on cars have completely stopped every crash from happening and stopped cars from killing thousands of people every year.

The people just helping schoolkids cross the streets made dangerous from car drivers want to wear body cameras due to abuse from drivers. The insane world we live in. Cars ruin cities.
