Aidan had restful night. He got a bit agitated this morning when they started doing his morning medications and care. They have given him a light sedative to calm him. Fever is low grade. I worked him through the exercises the physical therapist wants him doing.

Ryan and I talked about getting Aidan into a routine. I'll get there at 8. Spend an hour getting his blinds open, lights on, doing his exercises, and getting him cleaned up. I'll stay for the doctor's morning rounds and then Ryan will come to the hospital and relieve me.

Spent this evening with Aidan's twin. And to be honest it's difficult to sit across from him because of their resemblance. They have different personalities but at times they sound alike. Anyways we had brisket, took some to his brother at work and then his uncle. I just dropped him at home.

He didn't make it to 4. He was a full hour in the chair though and starting pointing at his rear and mouthing his butt hurt to the nurse, tomorrow he's getting a pillow under his ass
His sister texted that he's been in the chair for thirty minutes and is doing well. They plan to let him stay in it until 4

His sister arrived and is sitting with him. I took his twin brother to Bath and Body Works and we picked up Aidan's favorite lotion, deodorant, and body wash. We also got a book that we know he'd love for us to read to him. Now we're having lunch at Outback before we go back

The things we do for love
It really kinda sucks, I've been going since 4 AM and there's zero chance I can sleep now. So I am going to spend a few hours with him then go in for a twelve hour shift and possibly die on Saturday night after being awake since this morning
He won't be done until 1 AM and I have to be at work at 6 AM. He packed a backpack with a change of clothes so he can shower after work which means my bathroom has to be meticulously cleaned because he's as OCD as me

Aidan slept well last night. This morning he's running a fever of 102°, they added some ice packs to his bed to help bring it down. There were some cultures taken that came back this morning as bacterial. He's already on an antibiotic that will combat it.

Aidan's friend called me late last night to tell me he can't visit him like he is anymore. And that he wants to be there but it's too much for him to see. When he's better then he wants to, but not before. I had told him what to expect and he insisted he could handle it. He couldn't.
