Looks like the NRC is going away from ALARA principles. I think this is great news for the nuclear industry. LNT is a flawed principle and in my opinion Hormesis is a much better way to think about occupational exposure. Thoughts?

H.R. 7008 passed the house, and it’s so stupid. It’s the bill to stop insider trading. The executive branch is exempt, and it includes a voter ID add on since the Save Act won’t happen. 198 Democrats voted against, so the alt right is saying Democrats support insider trading. Screw them all.

A couple months ago a couple buddies of mine and I went on an overnight to Ancient Lakes. It’s a Coulee carved out from the Missoula Flood near the city of George, Washington. It’s a magical place, I highly recommend.

I went on a backpacking trip this weekend. We did 2 nights at Rachel Lake with a day hike up Alta Mountain in the Cascades. With all the things happening in the world and here in our country, I think it’s important to take time to take time to get lost in the beauty of the world sometimes.

If it is found out that Mitch McConnell is actually just brain dead and sitting in the hospital waiting until it’s too late for a special election, what’s the bet the GOP won’t be held accountable at all? It’s the exact kind of thing they would do.

While yes, it is trump, it is really the Republican Party. Get that messaging out there. “The Republicans are advocating for mass genocide of Iranians.” “The Republicans are leaking intel to Russia.” “The Republicans are blocking the release of the Epstein files.” Don’t let them off the hook.
