Sometimes, in the sword nests of common mockingbird daggers, a Cuckoo Blade appears, heavy with its hunger for blood.

A bird nest holds three broken eggs. From each, a sword sprouts out. Two of the smaller eggs hold daggers with mockingbird-shaped hilts; the larger blade has a wide hilt shaped like a cuckoo spreading its wings, its beak almost gorging the handle of the weapon.

Strapped onto the harness are four sheaths, each holding a differently shaped handle-less scalpel blade. One blade is missing, probably the one already grafted onto the handled one.

I felt inspired so I did something different today and made this into a Magic card.

The previous image in a custom-made Magic The Gathering card. The card is called Sword of Flour and Years, mana cost 3, is an artifact (Equipment Food), and says "Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from celiac disease. Whenever the equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, create a Food token and populate. If equipped creature is a Dwarf or a Fungus, populate again. Tap 2, Tap sign, sacrifice this artifact: you gain 3 life. Equip cost 2, or Equip Dwarf 1 red mana, or Equip Fungus 1 green mana". The flavor text says "The cutting edge in dwarven cuisine and home defense."
