You can feel the sheer exhaustion and heartbreak in their voices. No family should have to beg for justice after losing their child.😌

FLAG: Trump gets to keep tax immunity for himself, his sons, and the Trump Organization under the new 'deal' struck by Todd Blanche.

The new order also reaffirms that Trump won't have to pay any taxes he might have owed the IRS.

This is such complete and utter bullshit on the part of Thom Tillis and John Cornyn. Giving the Trump crime family immunity from tax audits remains as corrupt as anything we’ve ever seen in this country.

Todd Blanche should be impeached, not confirmed.
JUST IN: Tillis confirms he is on board with Cornyn to vote yes on Blanche for AG, after Blanche renounces Anti-Weaponization Fund in writing & asserts that the waiver of any past taxes due is limited to POTUS, Don Jr., Eric & Trump Org. Earlier: www.politico.com/news/2026/08...

An ad that argues private equity has too much power is taken down off the air by a private equity funded company that owns the team, the TV station that airs the team’s games, and the newspaper that covers the team.

Platner couldn’t have written the script better himself.
Private equity is taking our homes. It's taking our hospitals. It's taking beloved local businesses and stripping them for parts.

And now private equity is running the Red Sox into the ground.

President Trump's $1.776 billion settlement with the IRS is one of the single most corrupt acts in American history.

They moved fast to avoid the scrutiny of the judicial process, and very likely violated the Constitution. This is an outrage.

This is simply bonkers. The White House is in active discussions with DOJ about settling Trump's lawsuit against the IRS in his favor, *precisely because* a judge might soon throw it out. WH apparently wants DOJ to agree to "settle" the lawsuit *before* that happens. Utter insanity.
Is it legal for Trump to order a government agency to hand him a huge pile of taxpayer money?

Note that the White House is directly discussing this with DOJ!

The DOJ is reportedly considering dropping any audits of Trump, his family, or his businesses as part of a potential settlement of his bogus lawsuit against the IRS.

That’s on top of the $10 billion in damages he wants.

This is corruption on steroids — and taxpayers will pay the price.

It’s past 3 AM and they’re jamming through $70 billion for ICE and $0 for families.
