If your answer at a roll call is "I LIKE CAKE", you probably shouldn't be in the Senate.
Mitch McTurtle: “When I voted no yesterday when I meant to vote yes, I thought we were voting on the green Jell-O.”

What the fuck is he on about now?
Trump: "I could've banned fishing. The power of this office is crazy. I could've banned fishing. I think I'm gonna do that."

You only enact the fiscal policy that the GOP has enacted for a few reasons:

A) You want it to happen.

B) You're an idiot yourself like Trump.

C) Your hobby is standing by idly and in fear while a moron disassembles the economy with dumbassery.
Enten: "Trump is breaking records. Yesterday the Marquette Law School poll came out -- Trump's worst net approval rating on inflation. Minus 61! That's the worst Trump has ever polled on inflation, & not only that, it's the worst any president EVER has polled on inflation. Worse than Jimmy Carter!"

Who else but pigs should boink pigs?
It’s probably going to work out great for the reputation of the FBI now that you can just assume every agent is into bestiality

Oh, of all the people on Earth who would be fine with a company self-regulating....
Rick Scott: "With regard to destroying mankind, these companies need to do the right thing on their own. We're not going to get smart enough to regulate them. We're not going to get something done up here."

....and everyone was treated to one of the single most Iowa games yet played.
Josh Turek tailgates w/ Iowa State fans before kickoff yesterday. As a gold medal Paralympic winner, Josh knows what it means to be a part of a team & to work hard for the greater good. When he's a US Senator for Iowa, he'll be a team player for all Iowans. We need more team players for the people!

BREAKING:

It wouldn't even need to be a "mandate" in the sense USians (of which I am one) are trying to use it. That he was elected again is proof enough that this is a feature of the culture, not a bug. The culture must be fixed, and it is possible that the politics follows from that. Possible, mind you.
Americans serving cope in response to Max's use of "mandate" here. Like, yes, Trump did not win 50%+1 of the vote.

YOU STILL RE-ELECTED HIM AFTER A COUP, WORDPLAY CHANGES NOTHING
This is the part many Americans -- including the Bezosites at the Washington Post -- don't understand. Canadians don't see this just as a Trump thing. It's that America elected him twice, and the second time with an even bigger mandate.

The problem we're addressing is America, not Trump.

18.4 cents per gallon excise tax isn't going to make huge dent now, folks.
A volatile House Republican conference briefly considered a gas tax suspension. But that controversial idea led to a private shouting match, an angry social media post and no legislative action.

Read more from Jack Fitzpatrick and Syedah Asghar.
Republicans have a strategy on gas prices: Fight with each other
Republican lawmakers have floated — and fought over — a variety of ideas to address rising gas prices. None of them has found consensus.

That last post might get me banned from the MBA club.

I have one, but I have a unique view of how that education can be useful.

That's fine. They couldn't actually do it before, so they are just telling you, once again, that you can be fucking stupid and still be a successful commodities trader.

“For the first time since the start of the Iran conflict, we don’t have a baseline view. We simply don’t know how to model the endgame.”

Given Iran's statement today, yes, diplomacy, but also a matter of impeach and remove.
Hakeem Jeffries on the Iran war: “The path out of this was already shown to us by President Obama. It's aggressive diplomacy that brings the world together…The problem…is not ending the war…it’s that we don't have a president who has the ability to pursue that type of diplomacy.”

Well, we know now that the rise in gas prices could be temporary, provided the objective is achieved. I doubt Iran is particular about the details.
JUST IN: 🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran says Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu are removed from power.
