I commissioned @graveyardd0g.bsky.social in late march. I was understanding with the wait to begin with. I told them they didn't have to rush. But after June 8th they stopped responding to me at all. 1/??

I hate coming on here and continuing to say I have bad news. But life is like that I guess. I just wish I could get at least a week's break before things keep coming and beating me down. My mother has Lymphoma and Im not taking it well. She finally started to treat me better.

Movements love survivors, at least certain kinds of survivors.
The inspirational survivor. The grateful survivor.
The survivor whose trauma can be packaged into a fundraising campaign.
But the moment survivors become politically inconvenient support has a way of evaporating.

Since I didnt sell any Fated Partner slots, I will be closing them and opening them as trades. I have two trade slots open, since I dont want to overwhelm myself with work, while Im apartment hunting. It wont come with lore since my partner does that. It will come with names and baby forms.

I visited my Dad at assisted living. We had a very nice visit and he seems comfortable, but it’s hard leaving. I miss him very much. We have to figure out a way to get my mother to move there too, but she’s very very stubborn. We also looked at an apartment today but it’s not what were looking for
