A trial has been scheduled April 21-25, 2025 for two Border Patrol agents who allegedly worked with drug traffickers to bring fentanyl, cocaine, meth, etc., across the U.S./Mexico border at the Tecate and Otay Mesa ports of entry in San Diego County.

I wrote this 1year ago and I’ll be coming out with an update soon on where these cases stand. They all involve asylum seekers who wanted to avoid being deported back into their home countries due to potentially life-threatening situations that they could face

A response from CBP to my appeal for records on the last five years of traffic collisions involving CBP vehicle. I mean, 10+ years to fulfill a FOIA request is already not unheard of, so I don't see why that should be a dealbreaker
