May was a fairly stressful month for me at work, so having graphic novels and audiobooks was a godsend to me!

I did a video about all those I read and listened to in May

Fun fact - just found my 5 most-viewed pages over the past 12 months. Appears Freida's popular.

Your top five:

1. Dune – Frank Herbert
2. Foundation – Isaac Asimov
3. Neuromancer – William Gibson
4. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy – Douglas Adams
5. Rendezvous with Rama – Arthur C. Clarke

I’m guilty of judging a book by its cover.

Unless I turn it over and it has no blurb… then I’m putting it straight back down again!

I’ve started and not yet finished a heck of a lot of books recently so I thought I’d just give an update on everything I’m reading! 👇

Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney has a wonderfully creepy setting that keeps you flipping the pages but with an underwhelming climax.

Forever and a Day isn't going to break any genre moulds but it hits all the perfect notes to be a really enjoyable Bond book.

Frankenstein is a classic for a reason - it offers up a fascinating philosophical question of who the real "monster" is throughout.

Hunted by Abir Mukherjee comes with a lot of acclaim and a unique look at the T word, but it didn't quite do enough to wow me.

🫵 You picked them, I read them!

Flesh by David Szalay in May - my least favourite of the choices so far. It was very slow, the mc was incredibly dull and not a whole lot of poignance happened. There were brief moments of intrigue but generally not a fun book to read!

Cannot believe the Kindle Colorsoft is 40% off at the moment on Amazon! It's only £5 more than a Paperwhite! 😱
