Books & birds & the study of languages... not that I ever manage more than a modest bit of reading in most 🤣 Extremely wide taste in music which I will probably ("probably" Ha!) inflict upon you. 🚫MAGA 🚫Porn

As the Senate considers voting to approve Trump's devastating funding cuts to public broadcasting, listen to the words of LeVar Burton.
The Capitol switchboard is (202) 224-3121.
Contact your senators today and urge them to oppose these cuts.

Will preach about respecting Pigeons till the day I die.
Pigeons are our own pocket sized city dinosaurs!!! We domesticated them to love us and then we abandoned and villainized them. Our little feathered friends deserve kindness.

It's actually quite fascinating to watch any kind of bird (especially owls and ravens) cast a pellet, as well as being quite educational in telling you what has been on the menu.

This week's #StunDay is a set of a Kingfisher casting out a 'Pellet', this is fish bones, scales and other indigestible materials and can take some time to get out.

A truly interesting question.
My 🇫🇮 husband doesn't explain things unless I ask him to. Chalk it up to a culture that has respect for women.
🇺🇸 men, on the other hand, won't shut up w/the explanations. I know this from aggravating experience.
And the explanations get more constant the older I get.

I have a question for ladies of a certain age and above.
I'm in my mid-50s. Will I ever be old enough that men stop explaining things to me?
