Finished Daggerbound. T. Kingfisher's fantasy storytelling is just not for me. I liked the characters though. Starting The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating.

I have been trying to read the new Kingfisher book but I just...do not think it is very good. I don't mind slow pacing but this feels distracted to the point of not much happening. It has some much charm and yet is extremely boring. I almost feel like that is a skill in itself.

I'm almost 70% through Tehanu and I keep being devistated. This may be my favorite of the series.

My focus has greatly improved, at least for reading. Last year it took me a month to read 1 earthsea book. I am reading Tehanu right now and I am over 1/3rd done and I started yesterday.

I decided that when it is available I will listen to audiobooks for the informational books I want to read. One on trees was available immedietly on libby and like...I want to cry about trees now.

I did not do well at flamecon. My row was extremely dead lol. I did have fun tho and everyone was so nice. Other artists don't usually want to trade with me, but so many asked me at flamecon which was very nice.

Someone at my table said to their friend that my work wasn't their aesthetic. I am not upset or anything but I do think that kind of thinking is odd? Like...do you only have one? I generally like things that make me feel beyond the visual. Idk maybe that's just me.

I am not a kpop girlie, but every once in a while I hear a pop song I want to hear for hours. Rn it is Hit 'Em by Meovv. Past ones have been It's Me and Killin' it Girl. I like i like the repetitive nature of all these.
