But I did just learn how to customize widget groups in Vectorworks, and that's a workflow improvement that will be lifechanging.

This light plot has taken me a bunch of extra hours because I have updated all of my lighting symbols, and rebuilt all the schematic views for the vertical positions in VW 2027.
The plot legitimately looks so much better, but all this extra drafting time chips away at my effective hourly rate.

A dozen or so years ago, I reached out to Duncan Sheik via twitter regarding the rights for Whisper House following its premier at the Old Globe. He replied quickly, telling me it wasn't ready yet but encouraged me to keep checking in. We corresponded a bit over the years.

The bot told me there was no public release date announced.

A thing that is missing in these 2020's for independent artists and small theatre organizations is a reliable discovery mechanism. Theatres used to be able to put an ad in the alt weekly, or splurge for an ad in the daily, and be pretty sure that people would see it.
