i think you can fairly say that the second trump administration is the most racist federal administration since woodrow wilson and honestly i'm not sure that it isn't more racist than wilson's
Tough competition of course, but the Trump admin deciding that white South Africans are the only group of people on earth currently worthy of refugee status has to be the most overtly racist thing any administration has done in decades

DC gets more humid every decade — but we have more air conditioning so we’re in DENIAL. Even 20% ⬆️ humidity levels make heat intolerable. Global warming bumps humidity too. (I’ve lived in region for 35 years and yes, some muggy weeks but not this level. Houses not built for it.) Do you concur?

The Trump regime approach to civil society is a sea-change. They don't understand (or believe) that actors can be motivated by non-market or non-political interests. It's why they revert to "paid protestors" or "Soros-funded protestors"; organic, civic action & movements don't make sense to them.
