With all of these good, decent, brilliant icons passing. I keep thinking of this bit from Defending Your Life: "When you use more than 3% of your brain, you don't want to be on Earth anymore."
So, everyone is just okay with not one moving shot of Mitch leaving the hospital, arriving home...Not one photographer...or anyone with a phone was anywhere close by? This is so fishy...but I guess when literally everything smells fishy, it's easy to miss.

The #nokings photos are filling my emptying soul. Cheers to all the bodies that SHOWED UP, but especially those in DC, Chicago, and LA where there could have been actual danger. I've needed this reminder to help me feel part of a BIG group who want tolerance and empathy and care. Thank you all.

The finest description of him I have ever read. Not mean, not unkind...just true. He is not a fully formed person. I don't think he's capable of a thought that doesn't involve himself. I truly don't. How do you have someone in a position of service like this?

When we start treating others as "the other," we are in trouble. When the PRESIDENT starts treating half the country as "the other," we are in BIG TROUBLE. We can't let it happen. It's WE, THE PEOPLE. "WE" are not disposable. "WE" are not the enemy. DON'T LET THEM MAKE US DISPOSABLE.

While I absolutely think we need new blood and new energy in the Democratic party, I'm not sure I like the ageism in the languaging that I see. We have to be careful that the problem is with ideology and not just age.

Screaming into the void and preaching to the choir, I know, but our ACA premiums while my husband is between jobs are set to go up from $700 a month (expensive) to $2100 (Insane and impossible) in January if Congress doesn't do anything. Where is that "great NEW plan" they promised?

If politics are only money...not votes, not ethics, not compassion...then we need to vote with our dollars. Can we stop consuming from companies that have benefited (not all of them, but some)? Can we resist with our money? Is that a language they understand?

Haha. Hilarious. I was able to re-open my personal FB page but because I have like one friend on there (i.e., starting from scratch), everyone thinks it's a spam account and they've probably blocked me. This is pushing SO many buttons. Serves me right.

Funny story: I missed my FB community and accidentally made a new Profile when I wanted a new Account. Deleted the profile and made a new account. I got BANNED for VIOLATING community standards with no content, no friends, NOTHING. Just made one new account. BANNED. How poetic.

I know there are bigger issues, but if you haven't watched "Adolescence," you are missing a tour-de-force of acting and cinematography. Each episode is filmed in a SINGLE shot. The atmosphere that's created...the simplicity..the acting. It's potentially one of the best things I've ever seen.

Any of you watching "Adolescence"? Damn...Another beautifully made British drama -- perfect acting, not one wasted moment and a thirteen-year-old, virtually untested actor that will break your heart and completely stun you with his ability.
