I hadn't talked to my brother in over a year because we got into an argument. I unblocked his number a while ago and he called me for the first time since today... he put me on facetime while he went to show off his new motorcycle, and then he crashed it and died in front of me.

@governorferguson.bsky.social I would like to ask a revision to the WA FMLA program. My little brother died while on facetime with me. The death of a sibling should be a qualifying event for the program. I am absolutely not in any mental space to go back to work, and I can't afford rent.

The thing with Minneapolis is that they make their waterfronts public parks lined with long and continuous all ages bike trails.
Here in Seattle (outside of downtown) we let a few rich homeowners take that away from us. If they can’t play nice, they should be eminent domained lol

I’m cracking up about Starbucks supporting the letter while also relocating staff to Nashville, a city that is empirically more dangerous, so they don’t have to pay taxes that could be spent on public safety here in Seattle.
