So... humanity replaced human travel agents with web UIs to now replace web UIs with AI travel agents pretending to be human? And this is the best use case you can come up with for your AI bots?

I don't think I am particularly interested in this version of the future.

Things AI doesn't need to solve for me:
1. booking a table at a restaurant

Once humanity has solved restaurant reservations we'll finally be able to conquer the universe.

If you have problems with the word superintelligence, imagine saying it with a dick in your mouth.

Listen: Why not save ourselves some time, cut out the middlemen, speed up the process and every human on this planet gets some Anthropic shares right away? I think at this point we all know they'll dump their debts on society in one form or another.

Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez was at the United Nations General Assembly during Trump’s “ideological speech.” He’s talking to Jon on an all-new pod tomorrow!

In the past days Trump has banned journalists from the White House, launched a White House app that tracks its users, put a military installation into another of his architecture plans, asked for the break-up of the International Criminal Court and announced potential war crimes in front of the UN.

I wasn't really surprised by the stuff Donald Trump pulled off as a president. The lies, the corruption, the moves to suppress free speech, it is all very much dictatorship-101. What I underestimated is how much of it the American People would let him do to their country.

The thing ppl don‘t notice with all the AI hype: AI isn‘t the solution for most problems in organizations of any kind. 90% is identifying and solving problems that have been there for years, and once identified, AI can be useful to resolve them faster. Old Problems, new tech. No magic: babysteps.

„Did you do your market research“ is probably something people working in crypto/blockchain should ask each other more often. Never seen so much money wasted on products nobody wants or needs.

Someone needs to make a phone that unfolds into a 70" flat screen so we can finally call it a day in this category and move onto the next phase of real innovation.

Looking at Musks new touchscreen car and given how tired I am of interacting with the world through glass panels all day long, I can see the sci-fi movie future where the hero rides around in a muscle car, because it reminds him of better days when we used to _actually_ touch things and it mattered.

AI needs regulation, there is no question about it. If you read the latest incident reports and research, it is quite obvious that this tech has been put into production way too quick with very little understanding of the risks attached to it. The AI Hypetrain driving the convo will not end well.

Major banks are now _all_ working on their own stable coin solutions. They'll bring the blockchain mass adoption everyone has been dreaming about, but on their own tech and without people even touching "old" crypto once. You'll see.

All these running robots pretending to be athletes will be a lot less entertaining once they'll carry guns.

Hot take: I think AI in real estate got it all wrong. I wanna see the real thing and throwing ideas what to do with it around in my head is part of the whole experience. Generic AI renderings ruin that part completely and I actually stop looking at listings.

Not only will AI token prices keep crashing as DeepSeek and Kimi are pushing faster than anticipated, we are also already approaching the point where the number of ppl not needing better models grows rapidly. If you're spending $200/month to build a CRUD API with React Frontend, you're overpaying.

With "surveillance pricing," businesses have finally found something AI can do way, way, *way* better than people: price gouging.
