Made myself a brunch after a long hike with my Troy. My husband has left for the weekend to help our daughter move out of college. Today’s plan is to make some jam, read a lot and enjoy the sunshine 😊

We’ve harvested about 80 lbs of plums from our tree that keeps giving year after year. Branching out, and making the usual plum jams but also plum chutney which turned out fantastic, and plum crisps that we bring as desserts to friends 😊

I seldom make pasta salads but this one hit the mark. Seasoned grilled chicken, chopped spinach, lemon zest, parmesan and basil with an evoo dressing with lemon juice, red wine vinegar, garlic and Dijon mustard.
