Vintage Vampires. A little #ThrowBackThursday featuring Ghostie & Pumpkin (who is still with us and misses his best friend). These two were both feral cats who spent all their time together outside and later inside. They loved sleeping in this planter, so I added a blanket. VAMPIRE BITE.

Vintage Vampires. A little #ThrowBackThursday featuring Ghostie & Pumpkin (who is still with us and misses his best friend). These two were both feral cats who spent all their time together outside and later inside. They loved sleeping in this planter, so I added a blanket. VAMPIRE BITE.
I lost my friend Ghost rather abruptly last week. Pictured here as a younger man, he was at least 20, but a former feral cat--probably a hair older. He was frail but full of energy (and demands) and sat on my lap for TV every night. Love you, Ghost.

He's getting out of his playpen regularly, but easier to film here as he's still a bit shy. The screaming is done and replaced with purrs and curiosity. He likes pets and being handled, and you can even touch his feet!

Some sounds samples of the sonorous voice. He just got a bath and once over by my roommate who is a Vet Tech. He's going in first thing tomorrow to Berkeley Dog & Cat Hospital for a thorough exam and anything he needs. In the meantime, HE SCREM.

I was working in the garage last night when I heard an insistent screaming sound outside. Several hours later, and we recovered a small cinnamon-donut-hole from the bushes in the side yard. No signs of mom, siblings, and no owners found as yet. He's hanging at my place with lots of food & water.
