Obama gave America the concert and speech it should have for its 250th birthday. Still looking out for the country. Still trying to bring us together. Still classy.

Sign for a 30-day execution stay for Ivan Cantu: sign.moveon.org/petitions/sa.... Too many witnesses have lied. www.texastribune.org/2024/02/28/t... I have doubts, and so should Texas.

News reminds me of a Yeats’ poem, partly:
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

First haiku ever:
In life's summer
a lion basks in the sun
best tread carefully
