@adamchase.bsky.social an addition to your "why Britain is like that" with @lateralcast.com - TJ Maxx and TK Maxx have the same ownership, hence their similar branding. Their stores couldn't be called TJ Maxx in the UK because there was already an established UK retail chain called TJ Hughes

Wrote this a few weeks ago - most sporting predictions I make crash and burn, but I suggested in September that this might be #afcb midfielder Alex Scott's season to shine. Congratulations on his England call-up.

Leap of faith here - if Callan McKenna were to play for Scotland on Monday, with Benji Buchel likely to be in goal for Liechtenstein, surely it'd be the first time that current and former #afcb goalkeepers faced each other in a full international where neither had made it off the first-team bench?

Have tried to gather some thoughts on a remarkable season for #afcb - and like all the best sci-fi epics, it's been divided into three parts.
The stats. The emotions. And the goals.
I really tried not to get carried away. It can all be found on BBC Sport's AFCB page.

Terrific bowling by Emily Arlott. Was extremely impressed by her in a RHF Trophy game I watched at Wormsley a couple of years ago, surprised England have taken this long to cap her but thrilled she's started so well.
Also keep thinking it sounds like West Indies have a player called Downton Abbey?!
