Am I off base to think that without a win at City, Renee might be sacked?
2 wins eked out against Brighton and Køge, 2 frustrating draws against low blocks. Now, a toothless loss to Chelsea in which the subs were confused. 3 goals in 5 matches!

Trans rights, ending ICE, and freeing Palestine all got huge cheers at my local No Kings protest. These are mainstream positions for the Democratic electorate. The party needs to fucking catch up.

This adorable void is Joe PESH-y. He loves to meet up with my dog on walks and follow us home where he is our nighttime courtyard panther.

I read The Deluge by Stephen Marley a while back, and I can’t stop thinking about it. It is such a fascinating story about #climatechange that seems incredibly relevant today.

"One of the great tragedies of mankind is that morality has been hijacked by religion. So now people assume that religion and morality have a necessary connection. But the basis of morality is really very simple and doesn't require religion at all."

The He Gets Us ad from last night’s Super Bowl was just utterly ridiculous. It used example after example of people helping one another. It was a clear humanist message, but they co-opted it into a message about Jesus. That’s gross. The good in people is not due to religion. It’s due to HUMANITY!

Y’all remember when Howard Dean was eliminated as a presidential candidate because he yelled weird?
Comparing that to our stupid politics two decades later is unfathomable.

We are in desperate of an actual progressive/left wing party in this country. Establishment democrats are useless.
Wonder why so many of us are despondent about the response from Democratic leadership 🙄

Yesterday my conservative coworkers were experts on the constitutionality of executive orders. Today they are experts on firefighting and what went wrong with the Palisades fire.
I’m lucky to have folks with such a wide range of expertise that has zero to do with their jobs. 🙄

I just watched Interstellar again on IMAX, and damn… that’s a great film. Shoutout to Hans Zimmer for a score that pushes it to another level.
