Your brain is already catching up before the words arrive! So basically, our hands are often speaking slightly ahead of our mouths.

📄🚨New #OSF #preprint! How does cognitive load affect different stages of language prediction? Using visual-world eye-tracking, we found that the prediction process is disrupted and no longer shows evidence of separable stages, and prediction is delayed.
