For the final full day of my Cotswolds adventure, I went on a 13 mile walk. Starting in Chipping Campden and taking in Dover's Hill, Saintbury, Broadway and Broadway Tower with sections of the walk following the Cotswold Way. #walk #outdoors #Cotswolds

Another traditional Cotswolds dish tonight: Gloucestershire squab pie. It's filled with lamb, onion and apple. Lamb isn't the most obvious meat when you think of the Cotswolds, but there are plenty of sheep around here. #foodsky #homecooking #pie

This is described in the Cotswolds revipe book as "Sweet gammon pie". THIS IS NOT A PIE! With layers of gammon, apricots and sultanas, topped by slices of potato, there is no pastry in sight. A Cotswolds version of a Lancashire hotpot at best. Served with creamy leeks. #foodsky #goodlunch

Visited a few more places in the car later in the day: Stow on the Wold, Diddly Squat Farm, Burford and The Farmer's Dog (Jeremy Clarkson's pub). My plan was to get dinner from the outdoor pizza van in the grounds of Clarkson's pub but they stop serving at 5pm!

Burnham should call this village's bluff. Declare them independent. Then impose massive tariffs on anything they want to import from the UK. Charge them to use local NHS services. Charge them to send their kids to the local secondary schools. See if they still want to be independent then.
