The eclipse as seen from Chelsea this afternoon, very minor but still cool non the less. I was out by the Civil War Memorial which is in the second shot and the musket is partially poking into the sun in the third @universalhub.com

The Bunker Hill Day parade in Charlestown was over 90 degrees but was a great time. I especially enjoyed the statue of liberty head and the Bunker Hill monument floats. Especially when the monument lined up with its twin! @universalhub.com

I was finally able to visit Madhubala the elephant at Chelsea City Hall. The sculptures were hand made in India featuring an elephant that was saved from dire conditions and the @fourpawsint.bsky.social exhibit is migrating across the country. It almost blends in! @universalhub.com

I became the President of the Governor Bellingham Cary House in #chelseama last year and since then our board has pushed to open up the house museum more, increase the diversity of voices represented in the house and brought more guests through our doors... this week we were visited by 4th graders!
