New from me:

Jackson Chourio is now an official October walkoff legend.

So I wrote a whole Weird & Wild column about him.

Jackson Chourio joins rare company with a walk-off that will live on in October lore (Gift Article)
Chourio has built an impressive postseason resume at the age of 22, but Sunday's lead-flipping walk-off put his name among October legends.

beautiful
Just asked Victor Wembanyama if he’d ever consider promoting a sports betting company.

“Absolutely not. I will never do that. Honestly, I think it's very sad to see some players promote it. .. Everybody does whatever they want, but without me.”

If the goal was to inform the American people on actions & impact of President on US, they could do a much better job if they did not prioritize his steady stream of lies & hate. Ending access to White House would be the best thing that ever happened to journalism of covering the presidency.

This seems like a pretty big deal: donors made illegal contributions to Susan Collins and then were awarded lucrative contracts after her office intervened with the Navy. An FBI investigation was dropped under Trump.

This would be great, if the democrats held daily briefing!
Too bad Dems won't do daily press briefings from the Capitol on par with White House press briefings. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. About 7,000 reporters have House and Senate press gallery credentials.
Trump says he has banned CNN, MSNOW and Politico from the White House and says more bans are coming.

And maybe even the president and vice president?
Dear American News Media:

You constantly ask every single Democrat about some podcast dude. Couldn’t you, occasionally, ask Republicans about their biggest donor, who is a white supremacist?
I think this should be kind of a big deal: Elon Musk tweeting at 1:03am, “Only the AfD can save Germany.”

The AfD is Germany’s neo-Nazi party.

I'm deadly serious about this: every Republican should be shown this photo on TV and asked if they repudiate/reject/renounce Musk. And if not, why not.

Will Flemming should approach his radio broadcasts differently, and treat them less like a podcast - The Boston Globe
Flemming sounds like he’s aiming to appeal to the popular Section 10 podcast hosts and listeners rather than the demographics of the audience most likely to listen to a game on the radio.
