#Tigers 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position again tonight. That's a situation that has to be addressed at some point because you can't play winning baseball without scoring baserunners on a consistent basis.
(Although TTBDNS has been a tradition for decades.)

I will miss baseball once these last 10 games are over, but I definitely won't miss the brand of baseball the 2026 #Tigers have played for most of this season. Just amazingly incompetent at critical times.

I'm not really sure what A.J. Hinch is trying to prove by sending Finnegan out there again. I get trying to get him a positive result but he tosses BP fastballs every time he's on the mound. Just let him rest and pitch for somebody else in 2027.

Blue helmets giving the #Gators definite Denver Bronco vibes tonight. Still trying to get used to them, but I don't hate it. Sort of like when they first broke out the orange tops in 1979.

It's taken over 25 years, but the #Tigers, who play in a ballpark where balls hit to the gap, defense and speed are a necessity, are finally building a team based on those three things. Why? Because Mr. I loved slug-footed sluggers.

With Jacob deGrom and Logan Gilbert, both from @StetsonBaseball, this is the first time in MLB history that two starting pitchers who entered MLB from the same college each struck out 10+ batters in the same game

Another one-run loss for the #Tigers. Zero-for-five with runners in scoring position. Could have been way worse if not for some great defensive plays. Offense has apparently gone to Florida for the winter.

A.J. Hinch, once again, doing a wonderful job of closing the barn door after the horses have left the corral. I guess it's all about getting guys to their pitch counts at this point in the season.

Kenley Jansen will be elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. But based on his lack of attention to the running game, someone will steal his plaque before he even steps up to give his induction speech.

A putrid, disappointing season for #Tigers fans. But the emerge of Kevin McGonigle, Max Clark and Troy Melton gives me hope that things can change extremely quickly and possibly for some time to come. Need to build a team around them, Scott Harris.
