how dated are jokes abt women wearing yoga pants/tight shorts at this point? i guess the premise is that he hasn't been to the gym in like, 15 years?

i've been like semi-secretly writing a visual novel this month while otherwise being depressed and unproductive. started doing it maybe for the torture vn jam but it definitely won't be done in time for that. now i'm having to take a break to pick up the pace on whn and finishing commissions.

interested in visual novels admittedly in large part bc i think in the long term it will drastically speed up work on the long, static back and forth dialogue scenes my writing always seems to contain. and i don't draw very fast so i want to pick up the pace on putting stuff out there before i die

i guess in some ways the work will be similar bc i do very much have recurring fixations. everything i have been working on among my many theoretical future projects is about "some kind of murderer" except for one that's about time travel and one that's about a guy whose dick doesn't work
have a weird amt of anxiety that all the stuff i am writing now separate from/for after whn will not connect with my readers/find even a super niche audience. it's a different kind of work i think. but the stakes on this are so low, it'll be fine

an article of clothing i always want but rarely see in the wild is plain t shirts with text printed on them in big block sans serif letters. song lyrics or a slogan or something.

i never had my comic on webtoon and it never would've succeeded on webtoon. i make $1400-1500 a month which is obviously not a tremendous amount but in indie comics it's An Income
Two things can be true: Webtoons is a bad company + paypros and social media are stifling the reach and monetization of queer expression, AND ALSO, nothing is stopping you from making queer comics and putting them online.

also my partner snores really loud so i just wear headphones to bed every night anyway. always wonder why people don't just do that or run a box fan or something
i think people who complain abt noise in adjoining apartments that is just feet walking around on the floor are evil. luckily i live ground floor in an old building but i am shocked by how many friends experience these complaints
