🐸💚🐸 It's World Frog Day and that gives me a chance to remember the critters that defined much of my career. Frogs are amphibians, a word that means "two lives" - one life in water and one on land - which means frogs are doubly impacted by environmental change

I'm proud to be a Board Member at Thurston Housing Land Trust! Housing is one of our most important issues. As a conservationist, I believe conserving nature and building much-needed housing can co-exist. I think we can be conservationists who build. And I'm grateful for the work ahead.

Salmon don't need any more problems, but African Clawed Frogs might be a new one. Our newly-published experiment shows that these frogs easily chow down on eggs, alevin, and fry from multiple salmon species
