incredible: just two states that haven't reached the $6/gal mark for diesel, but they'll likely join today, making it all 50 states that have diesel prices >$6 per gallon. Texas and Oklahoma clinging (for now) at $5.98 and $5.99, respectively. come on in, the water's boiling!

Inflation is everywhere.
My daughter lost a tooth yesterday. My wife was traveling, so I handled tooth fairy duties. I left a $10 under her pillow, which I thought was v generous, but she woke up, saw the bill & said: "But why did the Tooth Fairy leave me $20 last time?" 😆

(I wasn't aware my wife had gone so over the top!)

It’s insane that people in Congress are paid over $174K a year in taxpayer dollars whilst making millions of dollars from insider trading whilst getting 18 vacations a year as Americans all over the country struggle to pay for rent, gas and groceries.

Lots of folks are comparing McConnell’s vote today to Feinstein’s finals days in the senate. The main difference is that Feinstein was co-sponsoring legislation to expand voting rights, while McConnell voted to cut SNAP and end environmental protections.

Well done, everyone.
This is just preliminary data (final numbers will be released at 4 pm), but the '60 Minutes' premiere averaged 7.7 million viewers and 1.5 mill in the 25-54 demo, down 19% and 33%, respectively, compared to last season's debut.

This marks the lowest-rated premiere this century, if the numbers hold.
