I miss the person/nervous system I had when I wasn’t constantly worried about being homeless. I can’t eat. I can’t sleep. Every waking moment and every nightmare is about trying to find some kind of solution.

We are almost out of this nightmare! If we can raise just enough for a hotel or extended stay for a few weeks, we will finally be able to start rebuilding our lives!

Eviction Update. Let’s call it 7. some actual good news? Someone has found us temporary housing. We start the paperwork on Monday and it might take a few weeks. In the meantime, we are raising money to find somewhere to stay. My nervous system is totally shot dealing with our aggressive landlord.

Eviction Update! We are working with an emergency rehousing caseworker in Denver to get us into transitional housing. We got approved but they won’t take Mochi and wanted us to throw her in a doggy kennel for who knows how long until we find permanent housing!
