This is a segment from the latter. Fujioka turns to the camera, pointing at the viewer. "The twenty-first century is yours," he says. The camera zooms in a bit, displaying a distinct smile on his face. He continues. "I want you to cross borders, oceans, and whatever other barriers you encounter. "And seize a magnificent future," he says as he puts his hands up in a grabbing motion. Pointing once again at the viewer, he smiles, determined: "I believe in you."

Oh dang, I knew that indie character action game Homura Hime was clearly inspired by Nier Automata (right down to having an orbiting gun-pod and bullet hell segments in fights), but they even got direct feedback from Yoko Taro and Takahusa Taura.

Very cool that the Nier crew actively supported it.

Tried the #MercyIncore demo and it has a ton of pure action game passion.

Loved the morphing weapon with different purposes and moves
Stomping your foot to slow time, jet thruster on your back, 0dashing to traversal elements and an LT modifier for moves to steal health = awesome
