I must say this "putting the war back in warcraft" schtick is damned tiresome. They never took war out of warcraft. Much like war in the real world, the battle field, and often the opponent, changes over time. France and England warred constantly centuries ago, but now they are allies. War remains.

So I watched a video yesterday from Question Period, I think, in the house of commons in Ottawa. The PM was speaking, addressing the speaker as required to have them.. pass on a message to the leader of the opposition, meanwhile there was rancor and shouting in the background. This is a part I hate

Had to unfollow someone who posted what amounted to a 'destroy Israel' statement in the form of a photo. While I do not agree at all with what Israel's current government is doing, I will not tolerate what amounts to genocide in the other direction on my timeline. Israel needs better leadership.

I find the reporting on the Sheeran issue right now is very much, and I think intentionally disjointed. I see one clip from a concert where he goes on about how important it is to do shows for the fans, how important they are, and how glad he was he didn't cancel the tour, without acknowleging

It feels super weird to be on a PR mailing list, respond to offers for review copies, but the PR people never get back to me to even decline what they had offered. Seems like crappy PR to me, and I feel bad for the brands that rely on this particular agency.

Amazing that a guy can so easily, and willingly, lose more per day than many folks here make in a whole year. Kane drew hate when he took pics in vegas holding a brick of bills like an OG cell phone, but this is a new level of insanity.

Just gonna say, much like the original premise of WoW Classic, WoW Forever, if it this game lived up to what it is supposed to be, would be played by very few. Players of WoW Classic have enjoyed the benefits of a lot of changes and improvements to the game since the 2004-2006 time frame.

Gotta be honest. I do not, at all, get the desire from these niche parts of the WoW community to go back to gameplay that's been old for over 20 years, and leaves so much progress that has been achieved out of the game. Was Duck Hunt fun? Sure, but I don't want to play it in 2026. Boggles my mind.

One thing I will never, EVER get is how a people who were spoken of at worse than vermin, could in less than a century turn around and use the same language to refer to another group of people. The Jewish leaders of Israel speaks of Palestinians in the same way Hitler spoke of Jews. Baffling!

Just finished watching Star Fleet Academy. I not have very firm opinions on a lot of the reactions I saw when the series was airing. They have matched the expectations I had at the time, but only worse. Considering some of the same people expressing views of the current season of SNW, pretty sure

10 years ago many Canadians gathered in singular locations in cities nationwide, or at homes for communal viewings of the final Tragically Hip concert in Kingston. My wife and I were in Assiniboine Park at the Lyric Theatre, with thousands of other Winnipeggers, and I will never forget the feelings.
