Ph.D. Climate Scientist. Labor Leader. Mom of three. Jersey Girl. Running to flip NJ-07 blue and put an end to political dynasties.
This week, I announced I'm leaving the NJ-07 congressional race. The fight for truth and science is far from over — I'll just be fighting it differently. Grateful for everyone who was part of this campaign.

I’m honored to have the endorsement of the Warren County Democratic Committee. 💙

Alongside local leaders, members of Congress, unions, environmentalists & grassroots Democrats across NJ-07, we’re building the momentum to beat Tom Kean Jr. and hold Donald Trump accountable.

Had a great time at the Somerset County Democratic Convention Wednesday night. Real people, real energy, real stakes. 🙌 @SomersetNJDems

Proud to be featured in @usatoday.com with other Congressional candidates who believe in facts & science.

I left the USDA because I refused to follow orders that went against the science. Now I'm running to restore facts & accountability to #NJ07

🧵 (1/3) President Trump’s disgusting statement about learning disabilities is yet another example of failure of leadership and morality at the highest office. @gavinnewsom.bsky.social

I had a wonderful Saturday at the Sussex County Democratic Convention — talking, listening, connecting with some of the most dedicated Democrats in #NJ07. This community is fired up and so am I. Grateful for every conversation. 💙 #NJPolitics

Only Congress has the power to declare war. President Trump’s attack on Iran is unconstitutional and risks dragging us into another endless Middle East conflict. We cannot repeat the mistakes of the past. Congress must act—and Rep. Tom Kean Jr.’s silence is unacceptable.

Over 200 scientists endorsed our campaign. As a scientist, former farmer, and labor leader, I’ve seen Trump’s attacks on science up close. In Congress, I’ll be the first woman with a natural science Ph.D. and fight for data-driven solutions for NJ families.

It’s unacceptable that Tom Kean Jr. is silent while Trump puts an ICE detention center in our community. ICE under Trump is out of control—tearing families apart and making us less safe. In Congress, I’ll fight these centers and stand with local leaders.

I’m not a DC-packaged politician. I’m a scientist, former labor leader, and neighbor who knows what it’s like to struggle and to fight for workers. I’m running in NJ‑07 to bring facts, integrity, and real-life experience to Congress—not party-line politics.

I believe in a woman’s right to choose—and it needs to be protected in federal law. When I was younger without good insurance, Planned Parenthood was my lifeline for women’s health care. I’m fighting so the rights we have today are still there for the next generation.

I saw Trump’s chaos up close as a USDA scientist—offices dismantled, experts ignored, protections for our food, water & climate weakened. I refused to stay silent, resigned, and decided to run for Congress in NJ-07. If you’re ready to fight back & rebuild, join us.

The loss of VA nurse & AFGE member Alex Pretti is a painful reminder that federal workers are human beings, not political targets. I’m running for Congress to defend workers’ rights, protect veterans, and build a government rooted in decency, democracy, and respect.

Honored to earn the endorsement of U.S. Representative @rokhanna.bsky.social in our campaign to flip NJ-07. His leadership on economic fairness, tech, and climate is the kind of forward-looking agenda we need in Congress. Please RT and help us spread the word.

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—his love, nonviolence, and fight for justice and equity. Living his legacy in NJ-07 means defending voting rights, expanding opportunity, and making sure every family can thrive. On this MLK Day, let’s recommit to that work together.

I just joined the @ClimateOne podcast to talk about farmers on the front lines of climate change and why Congress needs science-based leadership. If you want a representative in NJ07 who takes the data seriously, please give it a listen and share with your network.

This is a true grassroots campaign—no corporate PACs, just people. If you want data-driven policy, affordable health care, and clean water, I need your help today. Chip in $5, $15, or whatever you can so we can hit our goal tonight.

Honored to be with the Mount Olive Democrats today, sharing our plan to turn NJ‑07 blue through strong organizing and real conversations in every corner of the district. This is how we build the momentum to win.

Happy New Year from NJ-07! 🎉 2026 can be a year of real change—for our families, our communities, and our democracy. I’m running for Congress to turn hope into lasting progress on the ground. Join us and let’s make it happen together.

Happy New Year’s Eve from NJ-07! 🎉 Six months ago I was a federal scientist at USDA; four months ago we launched this campaign for Congress. Now we’re building momentum every day to flip this district from red to blue and defend our democracy. Be safe tonight—see you in 2026.

In 2025 we built something powerful—and in 2026 we’re growing it day by day. I’m running for Congress in NJ-07 as a mom, scientist, former farmer & former union leader to fight for working families. If you’re with us, please share this and help spread the word.

Stepping away from family time to wish you happy holidays. Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply enjoying a quiet day, I hope you find rest, joy, and time with the people you love. From my family to yours, wishing you peace and warmth today.

This morning I had pancakes with maple syrup my brother and I made from the sugar maples at my mom’s in Blairstown. That tradition is getting harder as warming temps disrupt the sap season. As a PhD scientist running in NJ-07, I’ll treat climate change with data, not denial.

My youngest daughter graduated from college yesterday—a proud mom moment that also reminded me how crushing it was to have three kids in school at once. I’m running for Congress in NJ-07 because no child’s potential should depend on their family’s wealth or zip code.

The House just voted to restore collective bargaining rights for federal employees. As a former federal scientist & AFGE shop steward and pro-labor candidate in NJ-07, I’m urging you: contact your senators and tell them to support Senate Bill 2837. Unions protect workers and our middle class.
