Favourite recent #creative achievement: drawing this little #sacredspring in a #stonecircle, at the opening of a #burialmound beside the #sea 🩵 It’s not much, but I’m a little bit in love with how this little detail turned out.
This is a part of the background in my new Carneddau pony piece.

I’m a little late with this one because August has been utterly ridiculous! But my latest article in my Rewilding the Zodiac series is now up on my website and on Substack 💖🦊 This one ended up a little on the long side, so why not make a cuppa and settle in to enjoy!
Virgo Rewilded: 5 Totem Animals of the Mutable Earth Sign
In this article, we will endeavour to rediscover Virgo’s unique and essential role in both the zodiac wheel and the agricultural year as we take a considered look at animals which embody the essences of her mythology and her meanings. Each animal will bring its own medicine and teachings to the table, and can offer us a different path to understanding the sign of Virgo and to reconnecting with the natural world of which we are a part.

Today is a very strange day, one I've been dreading for some time.
It's the day I'm clearing out the last of my art supplies, pictures and belongings from my old studio, the Witch's Cottage, before my folks finally move out of our family home of over three decades in Bedfordshire next week.

A bit belated but as promised, a more current update on my Carneddau pony artwork 🌙🐴✨
This piece has become suddenly more potent for me over the last two days, as we’ve watched fierce wildfires blaze across our beautiful wild mountainsides and forests here in North Wales…

Good morning friends and a slightly belated welcome to July - the month that astrologers have been talking about all year (and some for much longer than that!).
This month is LOUD, astrologically speaking. And not just because it involves the start of Leo Season! 🦁

The ‘dog days’ of summer get their name due to their association with the Dog Star, Sirius, found in the constellation Canis Major.
The first visible rising of Sirius occurs during the hot stretch from early July to early September.
